Karen Hackenberg of Port Townsend, WA
Surveying the boundary between man and living nature, Karen Hackenberg’s series of gouche paintings present an ironic taxonomy of post-consumer creatures of the sea, pushing the boundary between man and living nature.

The $2,500 3-Dimentional Award goes to
Michael de Forest of Portland, OR
Michael de Forest’s versatile work is iconic and functional and references human strengths and weaknesses.

The $1,000 Peoples Choice Award is chosen from votes cast at Arts at the Port
Results will be compiled and announced after closing on August 8th
Festival Awards (Anacortes Collects program)
The Anacortes Schopol District chose fine art (shown below) from funds provided by the Festival's Anacortes Collects program. This program provides up to $4,000 annually to place artwork in public locations.
