Mural Project

Samish Native artist Tsul-ton (Bill Bailey) will be the 2010 Festival Mural Artist. He will be producing painted panels with Northwest Native designs that will continue the mural series on the Tommy Thompson Parkway along the Anacortes waterfront, funded by the annual Art Dash.

Also a master carver, Tsul-ton has participated in the Experience Art area for several years. He has recently completed a totem placed on the Tommy Thompson Trail to honor the community's partnership in repairing the burned trestle and the Tesoro workers killed in a refinery accident earlier this year.
