Booth Artisan Awards
Each year the Anacortes Arts Festival Board recognizes outstanding Booth Artisans. This year the Anacortes Arts Festival matched funds with sponsors for $3,600 in cash awards: $2,000 for Best of the Fest with Wells Fargo Bank; $1,000 with Cornelia's Garden for the Creativity Award; and $600 in Partnership awards with the Chamber of Commerce.
2010 Awards:
Fred & Christopher Null of Slate Originals from Paortland, OR won the $2,000 Best of the Fest award. He has fine art furniture, each one of a kind, hand carved polished and sanded. Javad Esfandiary of Wells Fargo Bank presented the award.
Jeffrey Zigulis from Camano Island, WA won the $1,000 Creativity Award sponsored by Cornelia's Garden. His creativity is demonstrated through his beautiful ceramic masks, painted with acrylics, gold leaf, wire, all one of a kind. Cindy Morton of Cornelia's Garden presented the award.
The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce sponsored six $100 Partnership awards, choosing Booth Artisans for originality and unique display. Stephanie Hamilton from the Chamber presented awards to:
