Anacortes Collects
In 2007 the Festival started an exciting new program called "Anacortes Collects" to encourage placing artwork in the community. The Festival offers qualifying community partners up to $15,000 annually in matching funds to purchase artwork from the Arts at the Port Exhibitions. Artwork purchased through the program belongs to the partnering organizations. The Board sees this as an innovative and exciting way to expand the public's access to art in the community, and support artists through an expanded collector base.
If you're interested in more information, or becoming a collector partner please contact the office at 293-6211.
