During the 2015 Festival, 22 artists worked to create large-scale block prints on fabric using an industrial grade steamroller. In partnership with A.C.M.E. Creative Space, we are exhibiting these prints in October. Join us on Friday, October 2 at A.C.M.E. for a first-viewing of these beautiful pieces. A.C.M.E. is located at 705 Commercial Avenue and we will be there from 6:00 – 9:00p.m.
The Steamroller Print project is a part of the Festival’s Working Studios Area during the three-day August Festival. Artists participating this year included Natalie Niblack, Jean Behnke, Kathleen Faulker, Nicolette Harrington, Sue Roberts and Cathy Schoenberg.
The limited edition Steamroller Prints will be available for sale at A.C.M.E. all month. Make sure you come by and see this beautiful and unique work.
