The Anacortes Arts Festival strives to impact the whole community through its range of giving by advancing arts education, increasing participation in the arts, and better linking the arts to the community at large. The Festival endeavors, over time, to fund a well-balanced group of grant requests and projects, some self-initiated, that involves a diverse group of people and diverse art activities.
The deadline for 2020 Grants is November 12, 2019. See the Guidelines page for complete application information.
Our Mission Statement
By providing leadership in creating a vibrant arts community, the Anacortes Arts Festival, a non-profit organization, promotes and funds arts, artists and art education.
- To produce an outstanding Arts Festival, premier Fine Art Show and other Art-Related Events. This is our primary focus providing much of the means for us to support our other objectives.
- To foster the growth and dissemination of the arts through the annual awarding of grants to artists and arts organizations, with an emphasis on those that have an impact on Anacortes and Fidalgo Island.
- To promote and support a variety of arts activities throughout the year, either on our own or in collaboration with other art organizations.
